Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Woolhampton Primary School, a small, vibrant Church of England school nestled in our rural community. With approximately 100 children on roll, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment where every child is valued and supported to flourish in every way.   Rooted in our Christian values of Respect, Optimism, Compassion, and Koinonia (community),  we nurture every child’s academic and personal growth to ensure that they achieve their full potential and become the best that they can be. Strong partnerships with families and the community ensure a supportive environment where every child belongs and thrives.

As a school, our mission is to enable every single child to flourish by creating a safe, happy, and inclusive environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging and is motivated to achieve their full potential.

We believe in compassionate inclusivity, placing every child’s needs at the heart of all we do. We offer a broad, ambitious, and knowledge-rich curriculum designed to spark curiosity and a love of learning. Our teaching methods ensure that every child is actively engaged and making good progress, while our holistic approach nurtures personal, social, moral, and spiritual development.

We are proud to provide a rich programme of cultural capital and extra-curricular opportunities, including the unique benefits of our rural setting and forest school. Our community works collaboratively, with dedicated staff and governors who lead with clear, calm, and compassionate leadership, always striving for excellence.

Our school is committed to continuous professional development, ensuring our team is equipped with the best knowledge and skills to support every child’s learning journey. Together, we work to inspire and empower our children, preparing them not only academically but also as confident, compassionate citizens ready for the next stage of their lives.

We would be delighted to welcome new families, so if you would to see us in action please contact the School Office to arrange a visit.

Best wishes,

Mrs Rebecca Cox,
