High quality clubs and activities are an important part of our school life. Extra-curricular activities provide an opportunity for children to enjoy experiences and develop skills in areas that might not be on offer in the usual school curriculum. They are an excellent way to foster good relationships between staff, pupils and parents. They develop children’s social skills by providing a forum of interaction between children across different ages. Clubs and activities are matched to our staff’s expertise and interests and make the most of the resources we have in our school. It is important that children experience as many different activities as possible, so we endeavour to provide as wide and varied a range of clubs as we can - we tap into the expertise of our parent body to extend the range of clubs on offer. In some cases, clubs are run by external providers who make a charge for attendance.
Once children have joined a club we do expect them to attend regularly. If children are not able to participate in the club they should tell the member of staff leading the club as soon as possible.

Before and After School Club
The school offers a 'Breakfast Club' facility for those parents who need to drop their children off at school after 7.45 a.m. Children are dropped off at the Old School House door and are supervised by members of staff and are then escorted to their classrooms at 8.30am.
The children will be offered a breakfast consisting of a variety of cereals and toast with a selection of jams and orange juice.
The cost of Breakfast Club is £2 per child per session. Booking and payment in advance is via the Scopay/ Tucasi app. New parents will be given registration details for this facility on their child's entry to the school.
Woolhampton CE Primary School does not provide an After School Club on the premises. However, we are linked to the Bradfield Sunshine Club, a registered child care organisation located in Bradfield Southend Village Hall. The club is available for parents to use. The club has its own modern 15 seat minibus, which operates a pick-up service from the school.
