**To enquire about current availability of school places, please contact the school office**

If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.  We welcome visits from prospective parents at anytime throughout the year.

Applications for entry into our Reception class begins in October (for entry in the following academic year). Prospective parents should apply for a school place by the closing date in the academic year of their child's 4th Birthday.

Our Pupil Admission Number (P.A.N) is 15 i.e we can offer up to a maximum of 15 pupils a place in our reception class (in very exceptional circumstances we may exceed our P.A.N). Over 60% of our current pupil cohort comes from out of catchment. The headteacher would be delighted to show prospective parents around the school - please ring or e-mail the office to make an appointment.

Consultation on 2022/2023 School Admissions Policy

The Governing Body of Woolhampton Church of England Primary School will be consulting on the School’s Admissions Policy for the September 2022 intake between 21st December 2020 and 31st January 2021.

Should you wish to make any comments regarding the admissions policy, please email by 31st January 2021.

School admission authorities must consult on their admission arrangements if they propose a change other than an increase to their published admission number. They must also consult if they have not consulted in the last seven years. In the case of Woolhampton Church of England Primary School, the consultation is required due to proposed changes to the School’s admissions criteria. These are summarised as follows:

  1. All references in the existing admissions policy to “older sibling(s)” will be replaced with “sibling(s)”.
  2. The following oversubscription criterion will be added to the existing criteria:

“Children whose home address is in the school's catchment area, and have a sibling attending the school at the time of application and who is expected still to be attending the school at the proposed date of entry."*

*This includes siblings who will be attending the School for the first time during the 2022/2023 academic years and have already been allocated a place.
