    Due to the likelihood of very hot weather next week, please ensure that your child comes to school with suncream already applied and that they bring a refillable water bottle and a hat into school everyday.

    Blue Kingfisher house have won this terms house point competition!  As a reward childre in this house can wear their own clothes to school on Tuesday 23rd July.

    Tuesday 23rd July - Non uniform day for this term's house point winners: Blue Kingfisher.

     

    Wednesday 24th July - 9am Church Service.  1pm Leavers Assembly in the school hall.  School finishes at 2pm.

  • Life Around the World

    During the week commencing 15th July the children will be taking part in various creative activities based on countries around the world.   We would like to invite parents/carers to an exhibition on 23rd July at 2.45pm.  On this day, children can be collected from the bottom gates at 2.45pm and then given an opportunity to walk around the exhibition with their parents/carers (if parents are unable to attend children will remain with a teacher until the end of the day). Parents and carers are invited to taste the food their child/ children have cooked too. 'Tasting session’ will take place at end of day pick up on the following dates:

    Tues 16th July – Year 2/3 (Y6 will be selling their enterprise project goods, details to follow)

    Wed 17th July – Year 4/5

    Thurs 18th July – Year F/1

  • St Peter's services this weekend

    This weekend, St Peter's is holding two special events for children - The Teddy Bear Sleepover and The Pet Service.  These events will help raise funds for the church spire and they are a great way for the school and the church to work together.  A letter and flyer have been sent home, but details can also be found on St Peter's website - https://www.awb.org.uk/news-events/benefice-events-and-activities
